CNY Decorations

Yeah I know it's a bit late to post anything regarding CNY now but lately I've been busy with
exams and assignments so I barely have any time to write or edit any photos. And by editing I mean adding in the some captions and uploading it. That's a really a lot of work to do...alright maybe not, but my computer lags terribly, it takes a minute for the cursor to detect my mouse movements...yup lying also..guess I'm just plain lazy.

Anyway,

Since it's the voting season, I've decided to set up my own poll(top right of this page)
So do drop some votes and stand a chance to win a grand prize of all my remaining CNY cookies.

Here are some pictures

Mid Valley

Sungai Wang

Pavilion

Times Square

Tin Hau Temple

Genting Highlands

The one in Pavilion is the best I've seen so far but all these decos are slightly disappointing compared to the Christmas decos though.

Think I should put less pictures in my blog, It's becoming more of a photolog :S

McDonald's Prosperity LEFTover

For the past few years I've been wanting to try the McDonald's Prosperity Burger which is only available during the CNY period. And since mostly all restaurants are close on the first and second day of CNY, fast foods are my only option left. So for the past 3 years I've been visiting McDonald's (more than any relative's houses) and yet I've not once tasted the burger as it was not available everytime I order. What's wrong with McDonald's? They are selling it for a limited time period, and even limited amount?

So recently i went again to try my luck as usual. They no longer selling it, instead it was replaced by the new foldover. It should taste the same so I ordered anyway. To my surprise, it was still available, in fact they were so many pieces left. Think it must be the red underwear.

Everything looks great.

My pee The Jasmine tea

The ang moh's pubic hair curly fries

and the Prosperity Foldover

I drooled all over the table while taking these photos. Everthing looks delicious I cant decide on which to hump first.

I took a sip of the drink then to the fries and finally to the main course. Suddenly my sweats start dripping right after the first bite. THE BLACK PEPPER GRAVY IS SO GOD DAMN KANASAI-LY HOT. A small plate of chili padi is nothing to me. Wasabi all over my sushi, I'm still alright with it but this is a totally different thing. It's so hot it makes me wonder if Stephen Chow is playing tricks on me.

Then suddenly the guy on the next table approached me saying "pedas kan?"

=.=' WTF! Finally it makes sense why he kept staring at my manly boobs me since I walked in.

As I walked out I saw a small kid holding the foldover not daring to eat after few bites. Guess what I said...
"Pedas kan?"

Holy Crap! It's Valentine's Day!

It's 14 of February. Valentine's Day. A day where couples do lovey dovey things to each other and single guys and girls would scoff at it saying that it's all overrated and commercialized.

A gift I received :) ... years ago :(

It's cruel after all. Imagine dining alone in a fancy restaurant on the Valentine's Day. People will stare as if you're some kind of rare species and start gossiping about you.

So what could be done to avoid all these unpleasant attentions you ask.

Talk about your dinner experience with your friends/colleagues the next day

Pretend that you went for a date last night. Complain about the bill, the price of flowers and chocolates. Talk about the food and made up a story about the dinner. Even throw in some photoshopped pictures of you and your date to convince everyone that you weren't alone even if you're actually rotting at home last night.

Avoid appearing on public

Lock yourself in the room and turn off your cellphone. Make sure that no one can reach you. Call your parents saying you'll be coming home late while you're hiding in the room. They would probably laugh at you not having a date on Valentine's Day.

Carry a girl's/ woman's handbag

If it's impossible to avoid crowded places bring along a handbag. It will give the impression that you are holding your girl's handbag.

DIY love bite/hickey

The last but not least pinch your neck. Pinch the living hell out of it until there's a red mark to show that you had a wild night.

Oh man it's already 8, I'm gonna be late for my imaginary date. See y'all.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Hmm, I wonder how is Edison Chen celebrating Valentine's Day this year :P

A New Year Wish

It's a quarter past twelve. TV stations are packed with CNY programmes, people are busy partying, and I'm sitting here writing another crappy post while listening to Nirvana's songs. Lately while people are blasting their "ji-ge-long-dong-qiang-dong-qiang", I have Nirvana tracks as my CNY theme song.

Talking about some really good music, I recently came across a Malaysian band known as Silent Scream. They could probably be the best band in Malaysia. Just by listening to their song; revolution, I couldn't tell that they are actually locals.

Do give them a shot and support local music :)

Anyway have a great holiday!

A Taste of J.Co Donuts

Few days back a friend of mine asked,

Friend : Wanna go pavilion makan donut tomorrow?
Me : Sure

So we decided to head over to Pavilion right after our class. Since none of us know the exact way (yeah keep laughing), we decided not to drive and take a cab instead.

Another problem arised, we have no idea where the taxi stand was. So we waited at the side of ESSO petrol station hoping there'll be one that passes by. The weather was so hot and we were standing on a road divider waving our hands like freaking weirdos. Whoever that saw us would have probably called the police.

Thankfully a cab pulled over before I turned into Louis Khoo. Just when I thought things wouldn't get any worse, there were traffic jams all over the place. One after another, all the way until we reached. At times like this my heart aches everytime I take a look at the taxi meter. The car isn't moving but that freaking meter is in an F1 race.

After burning a big hole in my wallet we finally reached.

As usual J.Co Donuts was really crowded, thank god I've heard enough about it , with crowd that big, I'd probably think the word "donuts" indirectly refers to something else :P

I was never a fan of donut, but J.Co donuts tasted so good it was orgasmic.

Drool all over it.

What a coincidence, the official opening of Pavilion happens to be on that day.
Workers were busy preparing for the event.

Official opening by the YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah Bin Haji Ahmad Badawi.

Many roads were blocked (no wonder there were traffic jams everywhere) =.=

The first outlet of J.Co Donuts and Coffees was opened in Indonesia. In just two and a half years of operation they successfully opened 35 outlets in Indonesia and 2 oulets in Malaysia and will soon expand to China and Singapore.
